It was our grandmother who, in 1976, started the great adventure of La Pelucherie by opening her shop in the heart of the Champs-Élysées.
For almost 30 years, La Pelucherie became a true institution, brimming with magic. Whether to buy a stuffed animal or to stroll with family, the shop attracted a diverse crowd, from Parisians to international celebrities such as Sophie Marceau, Snoop Dog, Luc Besson, and Michael Jackson, as evidenced by the gilded pages of our guestbook.
In 2016, we, her granddaughters, decided to take up the torch! Our mission: to perpetuate our grandmother's legacy and offer unique and quality stuffed animals.
By reviving the brand, we resurrected the emblematic plush animals of the shop: Hector the dog, Zélie the panther, Edgar the hippopotamus, or even Zoé the giraffe.

Then, it's off to the workshop. For hours, each of our stuffed animals is meticulously hand-sewn using a precise technique, first-quality materials, and the incomparable expertise of our Italian seamstresses.
We are uncompromising on quality. From the first sketches to the choice of materials, through the shaping of the fur, the making of the eyes and muzzles, every step is crucial!
