We offer 5 newborn boxes to choose from.  Each box includes:  - One plush of your choice from: Dog Albert (28 cm), Seal Arsène (30 cm), Dog Hector (20 cm), Rabbit Léon (15 cm), or Mouse Lucie (10 cm).  - A newborn essentials kit: 1 white long-sleeve Oeko-Tex bodysuit (3 months), 1 white Oeko-Tex cotton swaddle (70 × 70 cm), and 1 wooden rattle with blue and white striped rabbit ears.  The box comes in a beautiful cotton pouch that can be embroidered with the baby's name and birthdate.

Can I exchange or return my order? 🙏

Returns are free within 15 days. On request, we'll send you a prepaid return label. We can then either process an exchange or refund you.

Where and how are your plush toys made? 🧵

All our plush toys are hand-sewn in Italy, in our grandmother's original workshop, with true craftsmanship: fabrics are cut with scissors for precision, and every seam is sewn by hand.

My plush has a problem. What should I do? 🤯

All our plush toys come with a lifetime warranty. If you run into any issue, contact us at contact@la-pelucherie.com or call +33 6 44 66 05 54. For plush toys purchased on la-pelucherie.com or from one of our partner retailers, repairs are free when the issue is a seam. Shipping costs to our workshop in Italy are at your expense. For any other restoration work (wear, damage, etc.), a quote is provided based on photos before any work begins. Return shipping is extra. Allow on average 2 to 4 weeks from when the plush arrives at the workshop.

We accept payments by card (Visa, Mastercard, Carte Bleue and American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.

Can I personalise my gift? 🎁

Accepted Answer

Every plush toy comes in a cotton pouch or a large reusable cotton bag that can be embroidered with the message of your choice: a first name, a birthdate, a nickname (+€12)… Each plush has packaging sized to fit. You can add this option directly from each product page.

Are your plush toys safe for newborns? 👶

Accepted Answer

All our plush toys meet European CE child safety standards. They are suitable for babies from birth. Our fabrics are carefully selected and tested in accordance with regulations (EN71.1 for mechanical and physical properties, EN71.2 for flammability, and EN71.3 for the migration of certain elements). They are non-flammable, and no parts can detach.

Can I pair the newborn kit with a plush other than those in the boxes? 🤔

What are your delivery times? 🚚

For mainland France, allow 3 to 4 business days for delivery. And since we know you love personalising your pouches, please add 2 extra days for embroidery.  For international orders, allow 5 to 10 days. For any special request, feel free to reach us by email or phone.

What materials are your plush toys made from? 🧸

Accepted Answer

Our plush toys are made from 100% synthetic faux fur, selected for its softness, durability, and easy care. Machine-washable, it lets us deliver a long-lasting product while respecting animal welfare. The stuffing is exclusively synthetic fiberfill.

I have a plush bought years ago at the Champs-Élysées boutique. Can you repair it? 😇

Yes, we can restore it. Contact us at contact@la-pelucherie.com or +33 6 44 66 05 54 with a few photos of the plush. For plush toys purchased at La Pelucherie des Champs-Élysées, repairs are paid. We provide a quote based on photos before any work begins. Shipping costs to our workshop in Italy are at your expense. Allow on average 2 to 4 weeks from arrival at the workshop, and your plush will come back like new.

Are payments on the La Pelucherie online store secure? 🔒

Yes, completely. Payments are handled by Shopify Payments, certified PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest security standard for processing card data. Your card details are encrypted and never pass through our servers unprotected.

Can I personalise the plush itself? ✍️

Yes. You can personalise a plush with an initial or first name embroidered directly on one of its paws (+€80):  - Bear Dodo - Bear Jules - Bear Lucien - Bear Gabin - Tiger César - Husky Léonard - Lion Melchior - Dog Albert - Hippo Edgar - Donkey Gaston Embroidery is in orange, matching our logo.

I need a plush right now. Do you offer express shipping? ⏱

For orders without embroidery, we offer 4-hour express delivery within Paris and 48-hour delivery within mainland France via UPS Express.

Are your plush toys machine-washable? 🧺

Accepted Answer

Yes.  To wash your plush toys safely: - Place the plush inside a pillowcase. - Select a delicate cycle with gentle spin, at 30°C / 86°F. - Tumble dry on low for a few minutes. - Brush the plush (ideally with a slicker brush) to restore its original look.

Every plush toy comes packaged in a beautiful cotton pouch or a large reusable cotton bag sized to each plush.  The pouch can be embroidered with the child's name and/or birthdate, or with any other message of your choice.  You can ship the gift directly to the recipient with complete peace of mind.

Can I ship to a different address from billing, for a gift? 🎁

Yes, absolutely. Our plush toys arrive beautifully presented in their pouch, so you can ship directly to the recipient. Just enter the delivery address of your choice at checkout. And don't worry — no invoice with prices is included in the package.

If a model isn't on our online store, it's not yet part of our collection. That said, we release new pieces regularly. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about new arrivals.

Can I choose my shipping method? 🚚

Yes, you select the shipping method before payment. We ship via Colissimo, UPS, courier within Paris, or Mondial Relay pickup points. You can also pick up your order at our Paris showroom by booking an appointment by phone or email.

I chose showroom pickup. What should I do? 😇

Accepted Answer

For click-and-collect, select “Showroom Pickup” when choosing your shipping method. You'll then be able to collect your order free of charge from our showroom in Paris, in the 16th arrondissement.
